A recent NYT's op-ed,by Anthony Lagouranis, "Tortured Logic", (see the URL attached with this post's title), once again brings a chilling reminder to Americans about the U.S., use of torture tactics in the "war against terror". Kudos to Mr. Lagouranis for being so brave to talk about his experiences with the use of torture tactics in Iraq.
The struggle for human rights continues worldwide on a daily basis. Whether it's a struggle to prevent starvation in Africa, assert one's civil rights in the United States, or avoid torture in Latin America or Asia because of one's political opinion, these are all issues for Hate, Hope and Human Rights
