The struggle for human rights continues worldwide on a daily basis. Whether it's a struggle to prevent starvation in Africa, assert one's civil rights in the United States, or avoid torture in Latin America or Asia because of one's political opinion, these are all issues for Hate, Hope and Human Rights

Have you noticed that all of the protesting people in this photograph are black? (for a larger image, click on the link and then click on the picture as it appears in the article.) Is this a mere coincidence or are there political overtones to this message?
I think that this is a mere coincidence. Although some of you may call me naive, I think it is reasonable to surmise that there were many other protesters from other races and ethnic descents. All soldiers were probably equipped with these machine guns, not just those in this area where black individuals were protesting.
